The Codorníu winery, located about 40 minutes from Barcelona, is an outstanding example of ‘Modernist’ architecture, whilst continuing to be a fully functioning winemaking facility.

Designed by Puig í Cadalfach, a student of Antonio Gaudí, the winery is a National Monument of Historical Interest and receives over 150,000 visitors a year.

A visit to the winery is a wonderful half day trip from Barcelona and once there, we would be delighted to take you on a guided tour in English, so you can see the beautiful grounds and impressive architecture, including a fun trip down to the underground cellars. You’ll get to learn how we make Codorníu and if you are lucky, you will get to enjoy a delicious glass yourself!
