FOOD PAIRINGS
Back in Spain, it is totally normal to pair different cavas with different courses of food throughout the meal. We would not want to say the Spanish drink cava with anything....but......
Here are a couple of suggestions with our favourite food pairings:
- Codorníu Vintage Brut or Codorníu Clásico Brut: Great with lots of lovely Spanish hams.
- Anna de Codorníu Brut: With fish & chips, this is a marriage made in absolute heaven.
- Selección Raventós: Our Winemaker, Bruno, loves this with the mushroom risotto he makes.
- Reina Maria Cristina Blanc De Noirs: Our Brand Manager, Jo, thinks this blend was made to be eaten with shellfish. Absolutely delicious with oysters!
- Rosado Brut: Yummy with salted nuts, like those delicious salted almonds you get in Spain.
- Codorníu Pinot Noir Rosé: This goes equally well with a rich chocolate or a summer fruit dessert. A glass is also great on its own as a refreshing end to a perfect meal.
